Huh, that’s strange. For me that only happens when the frame loses focus (due to scrolling with the mouse or clicking off the frame), and in those cases no inputs are registered at all (so alternate controls wouldn’t fix it).
In any case, I’ve added WASD and the numpad (that is, 8426), in case someone is not using QWERTY, as alternate controls.
Happened to me as well. Thanks for the alternate controls I think it'd be nice to have a key to slide all the way down in the current direction, as it's turn based sliding feels weird, specially when you're using a different key

When I try moving down, I keep scrolling the webpage down. Maybe add WASD movement?

That is a good idea, but is unfortunately a nontrivial change. Just to double-check, you slide while holding down any of the movement keys, right?
